George Washington Pines Winter Recreation Trail
This is a short trail for those who might not have the stamina to trek on for miles. It’s an incredibly beautiful place to snowshoe, right off the Gunflint Trail outside of Grand Marais. George Washington Pines showcases some of the state’s majestic white pines. There are also groomed ski trails, so be respectful to skiers moving through the recreational area.
