Mountain Top at Lutsen Mountains - For Your Winter and Summer Mountain Getaway 

Are you looking for a private mountaintop retreat located just a stone's throw away from Lutsen Mountains ski resort and summer recreation area? Then look no further than Mountain Top at Lutsen Mountains, located on Eagle Mountain in Lutsen, Minnesota.

Mountain Top on Lutsen Mountains is located amongst a group of homes built by current and former owners and operators of Lutsen Mountains. The location is a skier's dream come true! You enter Mountain Top, a single-story, accessible home, into an open living area with a kitchen, living room with a wood-burning fireplace, dining room, game room with a combination pool and air hockey table, and a four-season sunroom with sweeping views of Lake Superior. From the sunroom step out onto the lake-facing deck and enjoy 180-degree views of Lake Superior and Moose Mountain.

Down the hall from the living room, you will find Mountain Top at Lutsen Mountain's three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The primary bedroom suite has an attached bathroom while the other two bedrooms share the hallway bathroom. Wake up to the sunrise over Lake Superior through the bedroom windows. You also have Lake Superior views with a private deck attached to Bedroom 3.  An additional half bathroom is located near the entryway.

While not directly ski-in/ski-out, guests can easily walk down to Lutsen Mountains and hop on the slopes at Bridge Run. 

Pet-Friendly: This home is pet-friendly with an additional fee. There is a two pet maximum.

Security Camera Warning: Mountain Top has two security cameras located on the exterior of the home. One monitors the driveway for plowing in the winter and the other monitors the front door for when the home is not occupied. These cameras are not used to monitor guests.

Garage is not for guest use.

Area Information

As far as location goes, Mountain Top on Lutern Mountains is so close to Lutsen Mountains that you can walk there. For the downhill skier/snowboarder, it is perfectly situated on Eagle Mountain where a 2-minute walk puts you right on Bridge Run. For the nonskier, this house is still close to everything—just minutes from the Superior Hiking Trail, a short walk brings you right to the heart of Lutsen Mountain Ski Resort.  The home is very close to the snowmobile trail system, ride from the house! And that’s just the beginning.

During the summer months, you have easy access to the Alpine Slide, sightseeing gondola, and miles and miles of hiking trails. Should you get the urge to venture out from the immediate area, you will find you are a short drive away from many North Shore destinations. Within a 20-mile drive, you will find waterfalls, scenic overlooks, historical markers, and the quaint town of Lutsen. Just 30 miles away is Grand Marais, great for a day of shopping and dining in wonderful ma and pa stores and restaurants. The North Shore has a lot to offer and The Blue House is right in the middle of the action.

So whether you are coming up for a ski trip with friends, or a summertime vacation with the whole family, Mountain Top is a destination to consider. Accessibility Information

-This home is a single-story, accessible home.

-The driveway is paved and there are no steps required to access the home, including to access the lake-facing deck via a ramp from the parking area.

-All doorways and hallways are 36"+

-Flooring includes tile, hardwood, and thin carpet. Except in Bedroom 2 which has thicker carpet.

-There is 36" or more of space on at least one side of the beds in Bedroom 1 and Bedroom 3.

-The walk-in shower has only a small lip to access.

-A transfer bench is available in the utility room for anyone who needs it.

-Someone who previously lived in the home utilized a wheelchair and the home was arranged with wheelchair usage in mind.
