Poplar River Condo 562 Upper Lakeview Full Kitchen Loft Suite is a one-bedroom with loft, one-bathroom suite located on the shores of Lake Superior in Lutsen, Minnesota. This Loft Suite features Poplar River and Lake Superior views from the large lake-facing windows in the bedroom and living room, as well as from the river-facing deck. The open kitchen is great for preparing home-cooked meals to enjoy in the suite’s dining room. The living room features a 2-sided gas fireplace and large-screen TV. The bedroom features a king-sized bed, an in-room jetted tub, and a TV. Up a flight of stairs, you will find the loft bedroom featuring a full sized bed. Open to the living room area below, the loft is perfect for kids!

This condo is located on the upper level of the building. An interior flight of stairs is required to access the condo.

Poplar River Condos are now managed by Cascade Vacation Rentals. The condos are no longer associated with Lutsen Resort and the resort amenities are no longer included.

Area Information

Poplar River Condos at Lutsen are luxury condos located on a cliff overlooking The Big Lake. Located at the bottom of Ski Hill Road in Lutsen, Minnesota, this amazing location provides easy access to Lutsen Mountains Ski Hill and Recreation Area as well as many other local attractions. In the winter, enjoy a day of skiing at the midwest’s premiere ski resort. During the summer months, the Alpine Slide and site-seeing Gondola are two popular activities to do at Lutsen Mountains. The Superior National at Lutsen Golf Course is a recently renovated 27-hole golf course that is less than a mile away. The Gitchi Gami State Trail is easily accessible nearby.

The condos are also located just ten miles away from Cascade River State Park and twenty miles from the picturesque town of Grand Marais. Grand Marais is home to the North House Folk School and Grand Marais Art Colony. You will also find dozens of ma and pa shops and restaurants you can enjoy during your stay.

Gem on the North Shore

This truly is a gem of the North Shore. Peaceful, quiet and serene. Close to not only Lutsen Ski Hill but Grand Marais and Tofte. The unit itself was beautiful and well equipped. Loved having the great coffee selections too! The view was incredible and sunset was enjoyed from the deck. The artwork really gave it a local feel as well. We’ve certainly found our go to spot on the Shore. Can’t wait to return. Ps: the master suite with the jacuzzi tub was great after a long day of exploring!

I’ve just returned from a wonderful stay at Poplar River Condos and I am absolutely blown away! The loft suite (562) is the most well laid out accommodations I have ever had.. The master bedroom views are breathtaking. The condo takes full advantage of the views with windows that fill the space with light. Relaxing by the fireplace looking out to Lake Superior was a moment I’ll never forget. The whirlpool tub is a great way to unwind after a day on the slopes. The trail was fantastic for snowshoeing. Full kitchen, dining room and patio with a BBQ were all a bonus. The additional 2 beds in the loft makes this the ideal place for a family. Check in was easy, instructions were clear, and I’m counting the days until I can return to this place that is so special. Thank you!
